Cruise AT37-13. Details from dive logs and Animal_and_community_collections file. Victoria Orphan dive log: Sampling pyramid shaped fibers like trees but less densely packed and shorter filaments at seafloor. Some with yellow or white ball of sponge on top. Many small white brittle stars and few crinoids and xenophyophores observed in bed of filaments. Grabbed second batch of fibers placed in large biobox. 8º 51.629; 85º 7.894 heading 186º. Jorge Cortes dive log: Collection placed in Box C-04. White sponges with long silicious fibers, small yellow sponge.
