Small (~7x4.5x3 cm from the cut face) sample. Blue-green, fine-grained groundmass, which becomes more fractured in the interior with many thin, blue veins. Occasional magnetite crystals throughout and serpentine crystals visible on the surface sample.

GRD028ZT0: Serpentine with occasional clusters of pyroxene and subhedral opaque minerals as well as white and yellow veins. The thin section has both the highly-fractured center ot the sample and the less-fractured portion of the sample. Small fractures/veins seem to be radiating out from the center (see thin section slide scan.) (Thin section is with the sample.) (C. Eichler)
