GRD00ZJT7: Slide 8: Very different from the other slides. 70% oolites and pellets, 15% quartz crystals, 10% sparite cement, 5% skeletal material. Quartz crystals are overgrowths on original rounded quartz grains and have replaced the bordering calcite (oolites truncated). Spaces between oolites are filled by optically continuous sparite (each void - a single crystal). 5 mm long crinoid material. (J. Gee)
