GRD00ZFT0: Very large pisolites (50%) in fine-grained matrix of mud. One pisolite has grown over a calcite-filled shell (visible to the naked eye in thin section). Sparry calcite, small angular quartz grains, and occasional k-spar grains in matrix. Matrix is sparrite clusters, quartz silt-sand, and recrystallized skeletal material in a micritic groundmass. (C. Eichler)
