Formalin: 1 branch (2 ml). Canon T6i with Leica S8Apo +0.63x lens: x1.6: 4410; x4.0: 4411...4414; x8.0: 4415, 4417; x6.3: 4416. Field notes: Hydroids in transition to medusae, from room-temperature washings of hydroid-covered VOSC6 colonization array. Identified by Dhugal Lindsay as Australomedusidae, with key to genera, based on photos; narrowed to Australomedusa by Charlotte Seid based on presence of four perradial tentacles and four interradial rudimentary bulbs.
