NSF DigIn retreat 2024 intertidal bioblitz. Low tide 06:42 am (-0.8 ft), according to usharbors.com for nearest town of Cedar Key, FL (https://www.usharbors.com/harbor/florida/cedar-key-fl/tides/). Coordinates reflect Google Maps location associated with C. Seid phone photo taken just prior to collecting; three decimal places is reasonable precision; first photo (29.10079, -83.06229) at 7:23 am local time, last photo after collection (29.10108, -83.06241) at 7:30 am. Hand-picked pieces of damp algae and mud that were coating mangrove roots and prop roots, into plastic bag for sorting; substrates gathered opportunistically within a radius of ~10 m; muddy substrate, all mangrove roots fully exposed above water level.
