NSF DigIn retreat 2024 intertidal bioblitz. Low tide 06:42 am (-0.8 ft), according to usharbors.com for nearest town of Cedar Key, FL (https://www.usharbors.com/harbor/florida/cedar-key-fl/tides/). Coordinates reflect Google Maps location associated with C. Seid phone photo taken at start and end of collecting; three decimal places is reasonable precision; first photo (29.09996, -83.06300) at 7:07 am local time, last photo Chaetopterus (29.10000, -83.06290) at 7:18 am. Charlotte Seid collected samples at this site, which was recorded for DigIn bioblitz purposes as Station DIG9. Hand-picked intertidal oyster shell hash from muddy substrate into plastic bag for sorting; substrates gathered opportunistically within a radius of ~100 m with water depth <2 cm. Chaetopterus tube carefully excavated by hand from sandy mud, where both ends were initially above the water line.
