Z8. Notes: Truk-8, Comanthina schlegeli (P.H Carpenter, 1881), Fully exposed on coral, 25', near North pass, Truk Lagoon, Caroline Is., D.L. Zmarzly, 1-84. Two short notes: One stating that specimens of C. schlegeli from Marshall Is. have [approx] the same amount of cirri but are not as (thick) robust as these. The other note states that this species conforms to Australian forms and is consistent with Rowe's [ work] of this genus.
