Verbatim: Pleistocene; Punta Prieta, Baja California, Mexico. From fossil collection of Nancy and William Schneider. Coordinates reflect the site near Punta Prieta in Schneider, 1997 (Locality 3 in Table 1): "Two and a half kilometers northwest of the mouth of Rio Mulege, exposed in sea cliffs northwest of Punta Prieta, at a GPS reading of 26°54.849'N, 111°57.709W, approximately 25 ft altitude and overlooking the Golfo de California, lies another exposure of the Mulege Terrace (Locality 3 in Table 1). It indicates a slightly offshore, cobble and sand substrate (Ashby & Minch, 1987) (Figures 5, 6)." Years 1953-2012 reflect active shell-collecting years of Nancy D. Schneider and Bill T. Schneider before donation of this material.
