Field notes: submerged fibrous algae turf and grey sediment under roots of red mangrove (Rhizophora mangle, introduced species); this beach is not to be confused with Kahalu?u Beach Park on the Island of Hawai?i; collection site is on O'ahu. Coordinates from metadata of Pixel 7 phone photo at collection site: (21.46001, -157.83976); but the following reflects better georeferencing on Google Maps: 21.460147, -157.84032; 35 m estimated radius of collecting.
