Core depth: 0 cm, picked from top of sediment. Ethanol: piece in 2 ml. Remainder to Levin lab for chemical analysis. Photos, Canon T6i with Leica MZ12.5 +1.0x lens: x0.8: 6157. Field identification by C. Seid: Clathrina cf. coriacea, tiny sponges as on barrels. Field notes: Clathrina cf. coriacea sponges were growing on the long, mostly buried, vertically oriented tube of a live Protis pacifica, which was attached to a single dead/detached valve of a glass scallop, probably Cyclopecten zephyrus.
