SMNH 108678, NRM:EVmain:108678. Initial ID by Anders Waren: Hyalogyrina. Date identified: 2010-02-15. Treatment according to packing list: 95% ethanol. Preparation according to GBIF: specimen(s). Verbatim occurrence remarks: 'Unpublished species name Hyalogyrina vitrinelloides. Triangle scoop, carbonate rubble at edge of white bacterial mat. Very similar to large one from 108246, but half size only. 3 out for Sem, now 109308. Same as 108668. Shell very fragile, perfectly transparent; protoconchs + first whol saved of 3 spms taken for CP drying.' Matched to dive number based on date and details on GBIF: Event date: 2010-1-8; Locality: Off Puntarenas, Methane seep Mound 12; Latitude: 8.930667; Longitude: -84.312333; Depth: 1009 m; Depth accuracy: 9 m.
