Cruise AT37-13. Details from Levin lab animal and community collection log. Sample: 4912-Grab. Zone: Active. From Victoria Orphan dive log: 18:12 at 1911 m [should be 1811 m]: Setting up to collect clams with manipulator. Looks like 2 different types, but later confirmed both white and tan are the same species. Also collected large brown mussel in sediment (solitary). Also collected fuzzy armed crab- thought to be a yeti, but later ID as a galatheid crab. Manipulator collection of Clams, brown mussel, one yeti imposter crab.
