EP19-0235. White/pink morphospecies. EP19-0235, 0236, 0237 donated alive from UCN sample number SPG6.AGT1.028. UCN ID "Diadematidae." Largest individual. Processed same day as collection. Gut was brown (vs. purple in the purple morphospecies). Lots of fecal pellets inside. RNAlater samples stored at 4C for 7 days; tissue did not completely sink; moved to -20C. Formalin material: none. Ethanol material: tube feet (2 ml), gut sample (2 ml), gonad sample (2 ml), cracked test (jar). RNAlater material: tube feet, gut, gonad. Photos: Macro lens: 0378...87. Cruise MR18-06 Leg 3. Agassiz trawl #1 of 1. Trawl hit a snag and was almost lost. Possibly some contents were lost. Approximately 50 total urchins, a few fish (e.g. jellynose), arrow crab, small asteroids with red arm tips, small amount of coral rubble. Rubble and urchin washings stored overnight at 4C for live-sorting the next day. Depth from daily report. Coordinates from daily SOJ at target depth (rounded).
