"Collections from which the specimens described herein were taken were made on 29 February 1992 using an air-powered suction device on a detrital mat at the head of Scripps Canyon, approximately 1,000 m north of the Scripps Institution of Oceanography pier, at approximately 32°52.5'N, 117°15.5'W at a depth of 60 feet (19 m)."
