Originally collected at Ft Pierce FL, USA. Henry et al. 2017: "We have collected adults from the waters near the Smithsonian Marine Station at Fort Pierce, FL (at the base of the Smithsonian dock located adjacent to the Harbor Island Condominium complex, Fort Pierce, FL GPS latitude 27.456342775215486; longitude -80.30973136425018) in February 2015 and March 2016."
