Formalin: 6. Ethanol: many. Original ID Aphrodita sp. by E. Tilic. Details from Tilic, Neunzig, & Bartolomaeus, 2021: Several small individuals (ca. 3 cm in body length) were fixed for transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and directly dissected into the fixative (2.5% glutaraldehyde buffered in 0.05 M phosphate 0.3 M NaCl saline). After approximately 24 hr at 4°C, the samples were rinsed and stored in PBS (with NaN4). Formalin-fixed specimen scanned with microCT has 1 male, 1 female Veneriserva.
